Abstract
What universal images are there in Sergey Orlov's poetry? What is the basis for poetic universalia? What place does universalia take in the poetics of a soldier's duty: is it love for one's Motherland and for one's neighbour, or is it something else? What lexemes does Sergey Orlov use in order to express poetic universalia in his works? This article attempts to answer these questions.
