Abstract
For identification the changes of the morphofunctional features the author studied the intrapericardial and extrapericardial parts of a caudal cava by 60 infant rats of 1-30-days age. The alternation of the periods of the
accelerated and slowed down increase in thickness of the caudal cava wall is noted. The wall thickness in both parts of a caudal cava sharply decreases on the 16th and on the 30th days, then there is its maximum increase for the 22nd day of early postnatal ontogenesis. The structural transformations are the result of the growth of the organism, caused by changes of hemodynamics.
