Abstract
The paper considers the structural and semantic peculiarities of the use of interjection-like units presenting complexes with an adjective as one of their components (adjective-including interjection-like units) in literary monologues using the material from the works of British and American writers of the second half of the 20th century. According to their structure, adjective-including interjection-like phraseomes (having the form of a phrase) and adjectiveincluding interjection-like proposeomes (having the form of a sentence) are distinguished.
