Abstract
In this article the methodological approaches to applied swimming training are developed. The condition of individually oriented transformation, implying the consistency of teaching methodology with the didactic possibilities is formulated. It is revealed that selective substitution of the individual elements of the swimming technique while maintaining the overall structure of stereotype movements leads to an improvement of mobility in water. The realization of the formulated condition implies first-ever transformation of low-performing components and subsequent integration of all acquired movements in a single integrated technique of movement in the water. The results of measurements of technical and speed performance of swimming styles obtained from the experiment are presented.
