Abstract
In petrochemical and refining industry, much attention is currently paid to efficient by-product recovery. The most useful and economically advantageous way for a producer is to convert them into finished products. Polyethylene wax is a by-product of polyethylene production and is sold to customers in low-batch volumes or stored at the production site, losing its performance and causing ecological problems. This study considers the design of the main element of polyethylene wax thermal destruction process unit which is the reactor. Thermal destruction process is the early stage of obtaining surface active agents from polyethylene wax.
