Abstract
This article discusses the formation of verbal vocabulary in primary school children with the general underdevelopment of speech. The characteristic of the predicate of ownership taking into account gender. It was carried out a diagnostic study that showed as the difference between the level of formation of verbal vocabulary in boys and girls. In quantitative terms, the development of a predicate in children is on the same level and quali- ty formation is different. Depending on the gender of the child in the dictionary verbs dominated from different spheres of human activity. This shows that children are more memorize words that are closer to them and that they are more likely to use when communicating in everyday life
