Abstract
In formation of professional competence of future information system specialist deep, comprehensive training on a cycle of scientific disciplines, where the “Higher Mathematics” is one of the basic units, is necessary. This article highlights the issue of the direction of applied mathematics course for students of “Information Systems” and “Computer Facilities and Software” fields. The expediency of the use of applications in the teaching of mathematics to engineering and technical specialties of the university is shown. The issues of information technologies application in training are considered.
