Abstract

On the basis of studies of the proposed approaches and their adaptation in the direction it was considered practical organizational and technological approach to speeding up freight and passenger, which was proposed by N. Bogomolova, which became the basis for practical calculations of influence on the efficiency of rail transportation process and the development direction of its modernization. The concept of organizational and technological approach consists of coordinated technical, technological, organizational and economic blocs. An overview of the entire range of speeds measured in rail transport: from design speed, realize that potentially allows the construction of infrastructure and rolling stock available to actually reach speeds to real speed of transport of freights from origin to destination. Calculations was carried cargo sectional speed based on statistical reporting "Ukrzaliznytsya" and South-Western Railway. Calculations show that the increased speed of freight traffic on the 1 km / h. for the year will increase freight turnover by 192.4 tonnes km; reduce operating costs by reducing the residence time of the rolling stock in motion to 192.2 mln., reduce the need for locomotives to 94 units. To implement the organizational and technological approach to accelerating the speed of freight traffic on the railway transport of Ukraine it needed upgrading of the following processes : transport logistics, which binds all processes in a single continuous process, which is administered should be based on automated systems; operations with rolling stock that is idle through innovation and technological solutions aimed at the concentration of freight, combining technical and commercial operations with the corresponding changes of technological and regulatory framework; intralogistics management and system of activities of stations.
