Abstract
The study on factors related to human resources affecting maintenance effectiveness have been carried out for the purpose of investigating them and their effects on maintenance effectiveness, which in turn affect industrial output in terms of quality and capacity for Tanzanian industries.
The methodology used to attain the study objectives was synthesis of literature and analysis of identified factors. The identified factors related to human resources affecting the maintenance effectiveness were: qualification, experience, motivation, wages, attitude and human error of maintenance personnel.
