Abstract
Today in literature the issue of morphofunctional condition of abdominal azygos staying in the state of congestion, owing to temporary gastroduodenoscopy cross-clamping, applied for the purpose of prevention of excessive intraoperative blood loss at a liver operations [1-7] is insufficiently considered. Only single research works concern a role and compensatory opportunities of lymphatic system of portal vein, including mesenteric lymph nodes of a small intestine [5, 6].
