SYSTEM OF ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF ROLLING STOCK PARAMETERS

Ecological and economical assessment has become a key aspect of environmental activity due to its high economic efficiency: negative consequences of event implementation are cheaper to prevent than to compensate. The main feature of traffic influence on environment is continued operation of rolling stock and production facilities, providing production process. Theory and practice of using assessment of ecological and economic safety develop slowly. Only the possible aspects of this methodology are determined. It should be connected with sustained development and deal with all its elements ? economic, social and biophysical. Ecologic factors assessment should be conducted fully on equal terms, taking into account financial and socioeconomic factors.
