Structural studies of Ukrainian family rituals

With the help of the structural method examines national ceremonies of the family cycle ? wedding, funeral, maternity, compared with the ancient hunting rituals ? totem holidays and rites of initiation. By defining the objects of each of the ceremonies, the face of the catalyst, "us" and "foreign" members place borders with the world of the dead, the researcher argues that all the rituals have common roots and national ritual is a transformation in the agricultural soil of ancient ritual activities related to hunting outlook . This form of research has given quite a fruitful result and can be extended to identify other constituent elements in these rituals.
