Abstract
The purpose of the authors are to provide information about Rural Management, Development, Marketing, and other aspects of the rural market of India to the students in the field of Rural development. As we all know that rural markets have changed considerably since last two decades. This book has revisions and additions to meet the challenges that the managers marketing products and services to rural markets face because of the changes in the environment of these markets. This edition of book provided a framework to structure the subject of Rural Management. It is gratifying to note that the book created interest in the subject which is now offered as an independent course of study in many business schools. The topic is also of growing interest to students from developed countries wanting to understand such markets in India.
