PECULIARITIES OF CULTIVATION TECHNOLOGY OF WATERMELON VARIETIES IN SOUTHERN KAZAKHSTAN

Based on the results of a multiple-factor experiment performed on Dostyk-10 watermelon variety in irrigated areas of southern Kazakhstan at groundwater occurrence from 2,0 to 2,5 meters, the recommendation to melon growers can be given that growing of Dostyk-10 variety requires the plant density from 10 to 14 thousand pieces per hectare with 1,8 x 0,5 m and 1,8 x 0,7 m planting systems respectively.
