Abstract

In the article family education of intellectually handicapped children is considered. The rationale of the issue is that the family appears to be the environment where the child’s personality develops. Family education sets the pattern for a child’s public conduct. The practical relevance of the article is determined by the fact that it can be used by parents as well as by an oligophrenopedagogue for educational purpose when working with children with mental development disorders.
