ANALYSIS OF SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES TO FORECASTING R&D PERSPECTIVES

Forecasting the perspectives of Research and Development activities (R&D) is an important task of investment business. There are various scientific approaches to assessing technological perspectives and the probability of achievement of nontrivial R&D results. Each of them has its strengths and shortcomings. We made an attempt to build a generalized classification in order to develop a composite approach and thereupon create a hybrid model for decision-making support pertaining to decisions on R&D perspectives.
