Abstract
The Development of Environmental Education Activities by Using the Environmental Slogan Media for Bachelor Degree Students, Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University. This research purposed to study and analyze the environmental slogans so as to develop the teaching activities in environment education by using the media of environmental slogans, study and compare the knowledge in the environmental conservation, environmental conservation attitudes and the participation in the environmental conservation by using the environmental slogan media, divided as sexes and study fields of bachelor degree students, Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University. The samples were 30 students studying in 3 major subjects covering sports sciences, management and environmental sciences, and taking the course of humans and environment. The research instruments included the lesson plans of environmental education by using the environmental slogans, spending the tests to measure the knowledge, attitudes and participation in the environmental conservation. The data collection was conducted through the experimental research design of the one group pretest?posttest design The statistics for analyzing the data included the percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and the hypothesis testing by using the F ? test (One-way MANOVA) The research findings revealed that: 1. The slogans concerned with the garbage matters, analyzed and obtained the slogans in the environments in decreasing the global warming conditions, garbage separation, cleanliness, utilization and pollution. 2. The slogans related to the energy conservation, analyzed and obtained the slogans in the environments in the participation, waste, savings, shortage and maintenance. 3. The slogans associated with the water conservation analyzed and gained the slogans in the environments in the savings, consciousness, utilization, shortage and maintenance. 4. The slogans involved in the forest conservation analyzed and gained the slogans in the environments in the forest growing, forest destruction, utilization and drought. 5. The slogans concerned with the wild animal conservation analyzed and gained the slogans in the environments in the animal values, conservation, advantage seeking and wild animal importance. 6. Overall 5 lesson plans by using the slogan media including the environmental slogans entitled the garbage matters, energy conservation, water conservation, forest conservation and wild animal conservation in all 5 titles contained the mean scores evaluated valued between 4.10 ? 4.50. 7. The male and female students gained the knowledge, attitudes and participation in the environmental conservation differently at the statistical significance of the .05 level with the female students’ knowledge, attitudes and participation in the environmental conservation more than of the male students. 8. The students in different study fields gained the knowledge, attitudes and participation in the environmental conservation differently at the statistical significance of the .05 level. In summary, the environmental education activities by using the environmental slogans were appropriately efficient affecting the students to obtain more knowledge, attitudes and participation in the environmental conservation. Thus, there should be the encouragement and promotion for taking the environmental education activities by using the environmental slogan media for the next learning and teaching management.
