Abstract

The purposes of this research 1) were to compare analytical thinking ability before and after of tenth grade students studied by learning with backward design on webquest in information technology and communication subject and 2) were to compare the learning achievement before and after of tenth grade students studied by learning with backward design on webquest in information technology and communication subject. The sample was 36 students in class 4/3 in the first semester of academic year 2013 at Pakthongchaiprachaniramit School, Pakthongchai District, Nakhon ratchasima Province, by cluster random sampling. The instruments in this research were 1) learning with backward design on webquest plans consistency were 1.00, which is higher than the all the 0.50, 2) learning with backward design on webquest efficiencies 82.34/81.88, 3) a analytical ability test with item difficulties (p) ranging 0.33 ? 0.77, item discriminating power (r) ranging 0.38 ? 0.58, and reliability of 0.92 and 4) a learning achievement test with item difficulties (p) ranging 0.37 ? 0.80, item discriminating power (r) ranging 0.37 ? 0.89, and reliability of 0.93 . The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and hypothesis testing used t - test dependent sample.
