Abstract

In the mountain area for winter encampments on the most fertilized with animal excrement and plots abundantly grow tall stemmed groups, dominants are stinging nettle, Alpine sorrel, cow parsnip rough-banded, Golden flowers. Depending on weather conditions the yield of green mass on average 65-84 t/ha, on average 3.0-3.5 times higher than the yield of mountain meadow cenosis. These plants are hygrophilous, have a high energy growth, grow quickly in the spring and successfully suppress other vegetation, very productive, use the moisture accumulated in the soil during autumn and winter, have a high frost resistance, can withstand temperatures down to -20...-25 °C. For harvesting for hay tall grass groupings are of particular value, as during drying and storage are being lost the most valuable in the aft part of the plant, the hay turns nutrient-poor and poorly eaten by the animals. And as a result, areas adjacent to the places of winter camps and valleys, abundantly overgrown with a tall coarse-stemmed plants are not mowed, weeds obsemenjajutsja and their further distribution. Question harvesting silage from tall stemmed groups is an important scientific and industrial interest, meets the requirements of the rational use of diversified crop natural mountain grassland. Carried out scientific and economic studies have shown that green mass of tall stemmed groups, more effective use of silage, which allows to increase the palatability of harvested forages and returns of feed production, to reduce irrevocable losses of a crop of forage grasses. Stemmed tall grass and groups both separately and in mixtures with cereal, cereal-forb-legume species are well saniruyutsya have good forage quality, readily eaten by different types of animals
