Abstract
In this article, I have tried to explore the present scenario of Education policy in India and to express the loopholes in the existing policies. Practically speaking majority of educational policies have not been implemented to the extent they should have been implemented. Not only this, even statutory bodies together with their members are unable to deliver their duties honestly as a severe impact of political influence in their functioning. A noticeable degradation can be seen both in the policy construction and its implementation. The step of asking suggestions in respect of policy framing from the beneficiaries is surely a welcoming approach of MHRD. The other most significant thing is that we already have so many policies, several committee reports and recommendations and some are even still pending, so there's no need to frame any new education policy but there is a pressing need to review the existing policies. Further in this article I have mentioned some drawbacks and suggestions regarding the need of new education policy.
