Abstract
This review contains information on the most reliable and prognostically significant clinical, echocardiographic and laboratory predictors of atrial fibrillation recurrence after radiofrequency ablation of pulmonary veins. The presented figures predict the probability of a long-term success in maintaining sinus rhythm, and the advisability of this procedure in patients with atrial fibrillation.
