Abstract
This paper presents study on increasing work force diversity in MNCs. Work force diversity is considered one of the main challenges of HRM in modern organizations because of Globalization of Business, change in economic and political environment of business, increased use of teams, changing workforce demographics have made managing workforce diversity a critical task for today's organizations. The main purpose of this study is to create an organizational climate in which work force diversity is valued and employees from different countries, background, caste, culture, feel welcomed and accepted. The primary reasons for managing work force diversity is to improve productivity, performance of business, to remain competitive, to form better work relationship among employees, to enhance social responsibility and to address legal concerns. The data was collected from experts in MNCs in Delhi through In- Depth, Open Ended telephonic interview. The study is important as the research provides findings as well as the best strategies for managing diversity and future trends related to diversity which can lead to more committed, better satisfied, better performing employees with better performance of an organization.
