Abstract
The study involved five entomopathogenic nematode species (STJSL, STUDR-1, STJDR-1, STJDR-2 and Steinernema carpocapsae) and their mass production on different artificial media. Nematodes @ 1000 IJs/250 ml flask were applied in different media. Progeny production of IJs was determined by the number of IJs produced per 100 ml (within 25 days), following their exposure to IJs of EPN species at different concentrations. The maximum multiplication of different population of Stienernema spp. was found in media “Glucose peptone Agar 5g + Yeast 5g + Beef Extract 7g + Sterilized distilled water 50ml”.
