Abstract
An experiment was carried out with twenty different rice varieties to screen them against root-knot nematode Meloidogyne graminicola. The results indicated that out of 20 different rice varieties/ genotypes screened against M. graminicola, three varieties viz., Pusa basmati (V10), Jaya (V18) and Purple incitator (V19) were moderately resistant and nine varieties viz., Danti (V5), IR-36 (V6), Phalguni (V9), IR-28 (V12), GR-8 (V13), GR-9 (V14), GAR-1 (V15), Ashoka 200F (V17) and Maburi (V20) were tolerant to M. graminicola.
