Abstract
In the article the modern scientific views on the problem of interpreting musical works are analyzed which is connected with prospective musicians' performance skills development. The various aspects of the problem of interpreting are disclosed in philosophical and aesthetic research sources, cultural and sociological studies, but the authors make the main emphasis on studying musicological and musical-pedagogical approaches to this problem. In the authors' opinion interpreting a musical work is a certain degree of its understanding, perception and aesthetic evaluation. The musicological variations of interpreting (editorial, performing, composing) are given. The special attention is paid to studying the specifics of musical work performing interpretation. The interaction of composing and performing style at all levels of performance interpretation is emphasized. Four levels of musical work interpreting process are distinguished: the emergence of artistic conception, its formation, implementation, testing and evaluation. The definition of artistic and pedagogical interpretation as integrated subjective interpretation of works of art, enriching the musical image, disclosing its content, taking into account the specifics of composing and performing style, is offered. Artistic and pedagogical interpretation is proposed for using in prospective musicians' training as the most effective way of interpreting activities. The authors are sure that musical work artistic and pedagogical interpretation allows to arrange effective pedagogical and artistic interaction as well as organically to combine empathic, intellectual, technological (performing) opportunities of a teacher and a student while operating with musical work in the process of its interpreting.
