Abstract

The article's goal is the identification, discovering the content and systematization of micro- and macroeconomic externalities of economic innovation. Methodological background includes the methods of causal, functional, system, correlation and comparative analysis within a synergistic approach and the evolutionary paradigm. Actual approach to the study of the social and economic consequences of the innovative dynamics are under consideration. It is proved that the innovative dynamics, like any open complex process, generates and synthesizes numerous varied external effects (externalities). There is carried out the analysis of the spectrum of possible metamorphosis of system-recipient associated with the various meanings of innovative changes of economic actors. Such functions of innovation as adaptation, protection, differentiation, compensation and coherence are revealed. The content of related external effects (productive, cost-reducing, communications, attractive, metabolic etc) is explained. The presented results offer the prospect of developing and improving methods of forecasting and integrated assessment of the consequences of innovation processes. At the same time detected empirical correctness are confirming the of innovation imperative vector for regulatory activities of the government.
