Conclusions. There was a problem that requires immediate solutions ? to overcome the process of deepening poverty and financial support for the rapidly impoverished population in Ukraine. Attention focusing on the achievement of the main EU requirements for visa-free border crossing policy of the government does not take into account the consumer needs of our citizens. The process of further reducing the income results not only in critical poverty, but also to the impossibility of full membership of Ukraine in the EU. To stop the process of impoverishment of the population of Ukraine should: review the contents of the consumer basket, increase the minimum social guarantees, increase the salaries to workers of social sphere (doctors, teachers, scientists), to equalize the cost of living and non-taxable minimum and etc. The implementation of these measures allows to observe the main proEuropean standards of social development, considering the main priorities of the EU for Ukraine.
