Transmuted Generalized Quasi Lindley Distribution

The Lindley distribution is one of the important for studying stress-strength reliability modeling. Besides, some researchers have proposed new classes of distributions based on modifications of the quasi Lindley distribution. In this paper, a new generalized version of this distribution which is called the transmuted generalized quasi Lindley (TGQL) distribution is introduced. A comprehensive mathematical treatment of the TGQL distribution is provided. We derive the rth moment and moment generating function this distribution. Moreover, we discuss the maximum likelihood estimation of this distribution.
