THE MECHANISM OF MANAGEMENT OF REGION'S ECONOMY

The article explores the theoretical positions on the formation mechanisms of regional management and their correction in accordance with the requirements of transformational change. The analysis of the structural composition of the management mechanisms. It is determined that the management mechanism is an integral and active part of the system of regional management. Definition of the «mechanism of management of the region's economy» as a complex set of methods and tools that are used by regional governments in the processes of direct and indirect effects on social and market conditions of activity of the regional system, providing increase of efficiency of regional economy and increase the quality of life of the population. Developed a conceptual model of the modern mechanism of management of the region's economy in Ukraine that will allow us to improve the functioning of a particular region.
