ON THE PERIODIZATION QUESTION OF THE KAZAKH CEMETERIES OF THE REGION OF MIDDLE PRIIRTYSHYA

Examines the periodization problem of Kazakh funerary complexes in the Irtysh Omsk region. The chronological range of their existence in this territory, according to recent data, exceeds 300 years. The research- es have shown that the oldest are the generic necropolis, the appearance of which can be attributed to the end of the XVII – the beginning of the XVIII century, which preceded the steppe single graves. The periodization of Kazakh cemeteries in the Omsk part of the Middle Irtysh region is directly related to the nature of the Kazakh population's absorption of this territory, colonization and administrative-territorial reforms in the Russian Em- pire, which caused changes in the economic and cultural type of Siberian Kazakhs
