Abstract

The article describes the theoretical basis of professional competitiveness formation, determines the main competitiveness components of Information Technology specialists based on the analysis of pedagogical, psychological and technical literature and gives the structured concept of Information Technology competitive specialist through personal and professional performance features. With rapid development of Ukraine the process of modernization of entire educational system is irreversible, and the main goal is to prepare a competitive specialist of appropriate level and profile, that is professionally trained in the field and rather competent in other technological subject areas and ready to further professional growth. Information Technology (IT) is the most dynamically and successfully developing branch in Ukraine today, and the quality of specialists trained in this field is crucial for intellectual potential of Ukrainian community. Competitiveness is considered to be one of the modem specialist features that provides stability in market conditions and gives profitable difference in comparison with competitors and can be trained as any other skill. The analysis of research works indicates that the conception of priority qualities that determines the specialist competitiveness have been formed to some extent, but the question of the main components of personal features concerning the structure and content still remains today. The experts recommend to consider the concept of competitive specialist through personal and professionally concerned features. Personal specialist competitiveness components are regarded as axiological, cognitive, praxeological and reflective aspects. Professionally concerned components are regarded as qualification, performance and adaptation aspects. On the basis of the analysis concerning the competitive specialist concept it is possible to determine the Information Technology competitiveness specialist components. The table 1 presents the Information Technology competitiveness specialist structured components. Regarding the professional Information Technology specialist performance it is possible to structure the concept of the Information Technology competitiveness specialist.
