Abstract

Throughout history, Macedonia has been dominated by many nations or states. Macedonians, who spent about four and a half centuries under the Ottoman administration, rely on the old ties with Turkey. Due to its multiethnic, multilingual and multicultural nature, sustainable ethnic peace and political unity is one of the most important countries. In 2001, as a result of discriminatory practices, the point of bloody conflict reached and the Ohrid Framework Agreement (OFA) was signed. In this article, a survey supported by the Istanbul University Scientific Research Unit will evaluate the answers to the question on ethnic discrimination. It is a first in our field of research. A descriptive approach aims to identify problems and propose solutions. The research also has a precaution because it is of a nature to be a source of further research.
