Abstract

The article talks about the formation of the interest of the great Russian poet to the distinctive culture of the East. Passion for the eastern world comes from the early youth of genius, which to a large extent was attributed by the biographical preconditions. This interest deepened during Pushkin's stay in the "southern exile". Engaged study of the Siberian Herald sent at the insistent Pushkin's request by his younger brother to Mikhailovskoye strengthened Pushkin's idea of the scientific and social significance of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz topic in the conditions of the 1920s. It prepared the poet for a proper assessment of the outstanding significance of scientific works of his Odessa acquaintance A.I. Levshin, who was the actual founder of Russian Kazakh and Kyrgyz studies. This reading could have introduced the poet into the topic of the "stone", Tien Shan Kyrgyz people ethnonym and their possible historical migrations routes. Summer trip in 1829 to the active army in Caucasus has given a lot to the poet. Pushkin's oriental concept as a part of his artistic axiology has developed throughout the creative path of the poet, including both the method and the object of the portrayal. It expressed Pushkin's desire for a fundamentally new display of the oriental world, a tendency towards fuller coverage of this world.
