Abstract

The Article researches the possibility of post structuralism philosophy interaction with the economic science in the context of searching for the ways to further develop economic methodology and philosophy of the science. Term “post structuralism” is defined, and its role for economics is outlined. It has been established that philosophers-poststructuralists raise in their papers issues related to economic and political structure, as well as functioning of market economy. Connections between post-structuralism and economic methodology have been generalized, and in particular, it has been shown that the concept of methodological pluralism challenged the objectivity of learning through external impact on the subject of learning. An emphasis was made on the fact that the issue of institutional environment influence was raised by not only scientists-poststructuralists, but also by such researchers of economical thought as T. Kuhn, R. Coase, which may serve as additional argument in favor of such opinion. Possible applications in economic papers of inter-textual and rhetoric analysis, development of a new concept of an “economic person”, research of economic episystems, or the structure of knowledge, as well as analysis of economic knowledge issues in informational society have been outlined as the prospects of interaction of post-structuralism and economic methodology. Essence and possibilities of using rhetoric analysis have been researched. Rhetoric analysis is understood as an instrument to decompose a scientific paper, which is based on the achievements of literary critics, post-structuralism and classical rhetoric. A concept of a metaphor has been considered, which is the core element of rhetoric analysis. It has been found that metaphors in this context may be divided into key, pedagogical and heuristic. Rhetoric analysis of R. Coase paper “Nature of a Firm” performed by D. McCloskey has been systemized. As a result, an emphasis has been made on the tools that prove the legal nature of this paper. Such legal nature was proven using R. Coase's approach as casuistic and such that is based not only on the facts and empiric verifications, but on the metaphors and histories as well. Therefore, rhetoric analysis along with the other poststructuralist methods was given a place of the instrument that has to be used in order to better understand and evaluate the role of a scientific paper making emphasis on the relation between the subjects of learning.
