ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS – AN EFFECTIVE MEANS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION OF SCHOOLCHILDREN

The purpose of this article is to describe the participation of school students and teachers in environ- mental and social programs, which are aimed at educating students of respect for nature and are a means of envi- ronmental education of school students. The public opinion of students, parents and teachers in the process of implementation of this program was studied on the example of the non-profit organization “A Center for support of environmental and social programs "The Pigeons of Kazan in the Tatarstan Republic”, Kazan, Tatarstan Re- public. It is shown that this programs really promote to the ecological education of schoolchildren. Examples of implementation of similar programs in schools from other cities of Russia are given
