Abstract
N the present research we report the utilization of Saw Dust Ash (SDA) and Rice husk ash (RHA)for the partial replacement for Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) in the concrete. The supplementary materials were used so as to replace the OPC by weight at various concentrations such as 5%, 10% and 15%. Compaction factor test was done on the concrete formed while compressive, flexural and tensile strength tests wereperformed on concrete cubes, beams and cylinders on 7thand 28th day of curing in water. Based upon the results obtained we recommend 10% replacement of cement with both materials for better utilization and production of ecofriendly concrete.
