Abstract
The by-product fly-ash produced in thermal power plant in thermal power plant is the primary pollutant of soil and air. In the present novel review, the characterization and fabricated of stir-casted Aluminium-Fly ash (Al-FA) composites are presented. Majority of researcher performed experimentation on the Al-FA MMC concluded that increase in %wt of FA lead to increase cutting-edge mechanical properties mainly hardness, T.S, U.T.S etc. particularly at 6 and 15%wt of FA reinforcement in the MMC. Increase in %wt of FA beyond 15 %wt showed more wear, corrosion, decrease in toughness and ductility of the MMC. Stir casting method showed eye-opening results like even mixing of matrix and reinforcement material thereby leading to evenly dispersion of particle precipitates around the metal matrix.
