Abstract

It is researched that the current state of development of market relations in the agrarian sector of Ukraine requires from enterprises new approaches and rethinking of their activity in order to gain competitive advantages and conduct activities for the benefit of people engaged in this field and the region of doing business in terms of economic, environmental and social components. . It has been found out that agro-logistics as a line of business is gaining a leading and important place in the logistics and agro-industrial sector of Ukraine and is one of the main components of the domestic economy. It is argued that the concept of «agro-logistics» is becoming increasingly used as an effective management approach to optimize the logistics and overall costs of the agricultural supply chain and to provide an adequate level of customer service. It is determined that the search for ways to reduce costs goes in the direction of improving the management of supply, sale and storage of goods, improvement of technology of movement of material, information and financial flows in the agroindustrial complex, so the theoretical foundations of agrology in modern market conditions of activity are grounded, analyzed, analyzed practical experience of Ukrainian enterprises, opportunities for development of agro-logistics on the example of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine. The goals and tasks of agro-logistics in modern conditions are given, economic, environmental and social goals and objectives are highlighted. It has identified such tasks as reducing agricultural losses, optimizing agricultural supply chain costs, increasing the share of agricultural value added for domestic enterprises, reducing the negative impact on the environment, preserving and restoring natural resources, creating new jobs and developing social infrastructure. It is stated that modern agro-logistics requires the involvement of the latest information and management technologies in accordance with environmental and social standards.
