Abstract

The article considers the issues of information and communication support for the management of logistics processes in enterprises. It was stated that the use of corporate information and communication systems to automate the management of logistics processes is one of the important and necessary tools for integrated projects to increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian enterprises. At the same time, for most enterprises, it is important to develop an optimal plan of work for the entire supply chain, that is, a plan that takes into account production and logistics business processes that are part of the supply chain of manufacturing enterprises. It is determined that the modern market of information systems, individual modules and software blocks for logistics processes is constantly evolving and increasingly complicated, seeking to timely take into account all new requirements of contractors and consumers, their additional requirements, while improving the quality of their implementation. It is shown that with the right approach to the selection and implementation of the information and communication system, its use is highly efficient even taking into account the relatively high cost. It is emphasized that one of the main problems of managing complex network structures of the supply chain of domestic enterprises is the low level of integration of individual subsystems of the corporate information system, most often located at considerable distances along the entire length of the supply chain. It was noted that the successful selection and implementation of information and communication systems projects allows production and logistics enterprises to reduce the time and cost of processing orders, to reduce the cost of purchasing external material resources and, as a result, increase the company's profit and its overall potential. It is concluded that the optimization of information interaction between various functional enterprises, supply chains through the integration of individual subsystems and modules as part of the information and communication system, as well as with all other supply chain contractors, can significantly increase the efficiency of the entire logistics system, improve the quality and rhythm of product deliveries.
