Abstract
The incidence of Light pollution has increased due to the industrial revolution and modernization. The consequences of this effect can lead to a complete washout of the night sky which can be evidently seen in the given picture. Due to the artificial lightning, the actual starlight becomes blurred and is not visible to the naked eye. With the increase in urbanization and technological advancement, the usage of artificial lightning to enhance the visual audacity of buildings, gateways, roads and more has incredibly increased. This is an anthropogenic action which has been on a splurge to alter natural lightning and conditions. This has led to light pollution, which is the excessive use of artificial lightning which has been causing starlight washout, astronomic trauma, difficulties in satellite filming and leads to waste of energy and resources.
