The role of foreign trade in the development of foreign economic relations in the Republic of Azerbaijan

The article examines the dynamics of economic development, the volume of foreign trade turnover, effective trade strategy and indicators of economic activity of our country. Along with the oil sector, which is the main source of income for the country's economic growth, development of the non-oil sector and promotion of exports based on global experience are important. Azerbaijan's export potential is one of the main economic problems. This problem is based on the development of foreign trade relations, economic integration into the world market and export stimulation, which puts the development of entrepreneurship and state support in the country. One of the main problems of the study is solving the issues of state support, subsidies, concessional loans and other economic issues for the development of the country's export potential, priority areas with the possibility of producing goods and services. The author argues that the diversification of exports will allow to achieve exports with maximum efficiency and optimal structure, expand the range of products exported from the country and gradually increase the share of high-tech products in the export structure
