Digitalization of the economy as a prospect for the development of agricultural insurance

The article examines the features of agricultural production, which determine the specificity of the risks that farmers deal with in the course of economic activity. Agricultural insurance is one of the most common methods for managing such risks, the prospective development of which is due to the digitalization of the economy. The article also discusses ways to implement previously unavailable insurance schemes, which is achieved by the development of the digital economy, which can motivate farmers to insure even more. It is emphasized that it is advisable to include the presented innovations in a comprehensive plan of measures for the restoration of agriculture in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
