Current State of the Agricultural Products Market

The urgency of this topic of research is due to the fact that food security has always been and remains a priority for any state. For Ukraine, which is currently in crisis, agriculture can provide some economic security to it. Improving the efficiency and stability of agricultural development as a whole is one of the most important thing in the development of the economy as a whole, because it depends on the functioning of other industries, in particular: chemical, pharmaceutical, bakery, canning, confectionery and other industries. The purpose of this article is to study and analyze the production of agricultural products in Ukraine through the study of certain indicators of the industry. For analysis and calculation, statistical data were taken from 2010 to 2016 inclusive. In particular, the share of agriculture in the structure of the country's GDP in absolute and relative indicators has been determined, the dynamics of production of the main types of agricultural products in natural units has been analyzed, as well as the dynamics of production of the main types of livestock products, namely, meat, milk and egg production. The importance of state support to this industry was emphasized in the scientific work. The main goals of state regulation of agriculture at the present stage have been substantiated. It has been determined that the main directions of development of agro-industrial complex at the state level for 2017 are rural development, land reform, assistance to farmers. Further research will be aimed at finding effective methods of support for the agroindustrial complex, as well as the impact of marketing tools in this area.
