Abstract

The peculiarity of the Orenburg region, in terms of morbidity among the population, is that this region is endemic in terms of iodine content. There is a low level of consumption of iodine-containing products in the region. This leads to a violation of the functions of the thyroid gland among all groups of the population. The Orenburg region is only one of the 30 regions of Russia with iodine deficiency. This article analyzes the morbidity of the entire population of the Orenburg region with diseases of the endocrine system 2017-2021.
