Abstract

The study of men's sexual behavior is carried out in the context of general studies of sexuality and gender differences. It is not separated into a separate research direction and is an end-to-end process of both a number of scientific fields and different levels of its functioning (biological, psychological, socio-cultural), and also relates to the historical-evolutionary context of human development in society. The peculiarity of sexual behavior is that it manifests itself as a couple through the combination of individual sexual activity of one subject and perception of potential individual sexual orientation of another. The sexual behavior of men refers to various spheres of manifestation, where copulatory behavior is considered purely intimate as a separate cyclical process of sexual intercourse. Copulatory behavior of men, as the ability to perform sexual intercourse, is the subject of scientific research in medicine, biology and psychology, with a focus on the preservation and maintenance of sexual health. We singled out the following areas of study of sexual behavior in general and men in particular. These are as follows: 1) balancing between biological sex and the social reality of a person's life in his sexual development and sexual behavior; 2) the restrictive pressure of cultural and religious norms on the variability of the manifestation of a person's sexual identity in society; 3) physical and mental health of a person in relation to his sexuality and sexual behavior; 4) sexual behavior of men at the level of couple relationships, which is considered one of the conditions of a person's psychological well-being and his experience of positive feelings. A promising direction of research is the search for a reduction of social pressure on the variability of manifestations of sexual behavior, currently, of men
