Abstract
Background. Secondary edematous breast cancer (SEBC) is a nodal breast cancer that accounts for 5–10% of breast cancer and is characterized by an aggressive clinical course. One of the key factors in the progression of SEBC is the stromal component, which is in constant interaction with cancer cells.
