INFORMATION SOCIETY OF UKRAINE: GLOBAL TRENDS AND NATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

One of the global trends of development of modern civilization is the comprehensive computerization of processes in the functioning of society. Information and technological changes reflect current and future needs of society consolidate its abilities and expand opportunities. Accordingly, the author considers that an assessment of information society in Ukraine and prospects of its future development is very relevant issues. Since this will be the driving force of the country's competitiveness in the global space, the source of new financial opportunities and economic prospects even in the current difficult economic and military situation. The article presents the results of analysis of the basic resource blocks of structure of information society in Ukraine, which is conducted by confrontation and comparison with trends of world analogues. According to the results, the author carries out evaluating the overall level of implementation of information society in the national space, identifies directions that serve as catalysts and outsiders of information, and suggests possible ways to improve the Information Society in Ukraine.
