ASSESSMENT OF DISTURBANCE OF THE TEMPORAL AND MANDIBULAR JOINT BY THE FUNCTIONAL CHANGES OF DENTOALVEOLAR SYSTEM

The most various factors have impact on emergence and development of pathology of the temporomandibular joint. It is the psycho-emotional state of patients, trauma of the maxillofacial area, defects of the dentitions, as a result of which is the mastication dysfunction, the existence of the tooth fillings and dentures in an oral cavity, the pathological erasability of solid tissues of teeth, bad habits. The determination of optical density of a bone tissue with use of a method of a computer tomography allows not only to exclude subjective factors by the studying of tomograms, but also to receive the quantitative expression of the available changes of a bone tissue in dynamics that allows to hold the rehabilitation in time and to estimate the treatment results. The purpose of our research work is the investigating of the optical density changes of the bone elements of the temporomandibular joint by a syndrome of painful dysfunction by patients with partial lack of teeth with decrease in height of the lower part of face.
