ENVIRONMENT AS A RISK FACTOR OF DEVELOPMENT OF ALLERGIC DISEASES IN CHILDREN

Abstract
Purpose: to study the features of prevalence of allergic diseases in children depending on a geoecological condition of the environment in different regions of the Grodno area. Materials and methods: the comparative analysis of a long-time annual average (1999 2013) indicator of allergic diseases incidence among children aged from 0 till 14 years residing on 4 territories with different geoecological condition of the environment was carried out. Results: the increase in the incidence of allergic rhinitis (general OR 6.35 (4.46?9.02), primary OR 5.38 (3.15? 9.17)) and atopic dermatitis (general OR 2.74 (2.42?3.11), primary OR 5.43 (4.36?6.76)) in the regions with an adverse state of the environment was established. Conclusion. On drawing up plans of preventive and curative interventions for children with allergic diseases one should consider regional features of a geoecological condition of the environment.
