Abstract

SMP Mardi Putera Surabaya determines the value Standard Minimum Graduation at 75 for mathematic. Currently the average math scores on some students still under Standard Complete Minimal, one of the factors that affect is teacher centered learning. So students still do not understand the mathematical concept of optimally. This study aims to know the effect of Learning Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) Model to VIII grade class student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons at SMP Mardi Putera Surabaya, improved learning outcomes in particular. This research included in this type of classroom action research (PTK) because in this study certain phases to improve the learning process in the classroom. This study class is an VIII-C class. From this study it can be concluded that the adoption of the Learning Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) Model can improve student learning outcomes VIII-C SMP Mardi Putera Surabaya. We know the average value of Midtest Semester at first cycle of students is 78.44, or it increases about 15.15%. First cycle to second cycle earned an average of 79.25, or it increases about 1.03%.
